Upstream plans to run the tests completely on pytest-httpbin, which provides a 
locally running
instance of httpbin [1]. There are already some steps towards this in the 
pytest-httpbin branch [2].

I'm working on pytest-httpbin [3] and httpbin [4] to make them available. When 
they are becoming, either upstream
made this feature available or maybe some patch work would be necessary.
