Package: tayga Followup-For: Bug #779105 I think you're looking for something like https://github.com/toreanderson/clatd It's a wrapper around tayga to do exactly as you described.
afaik there's no debian packages for clatd, and no ITP either. So maybe that's the next step for this bug?
