Package: laptop-mode-tools Severity: serious Justification: causes user configuration loss
After purging the package, I discovered my syslog ceased to work. I found a dangling symlink /etc/syslog.conf -> /etc/syslog-on-battery.conf This causes sysklog stop working at restart and user unable to restore again his old configuration file in anyway. At least keep the user original configuration in a safe place is mandatory. It would be better avoiding completely to upset user configuration in that way IMHO. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-2-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
