Obviously it > should be the other way around. I can confirm this. There seems to be a missing distinction between the "Show App Menu (in topbar)" and "Show App Menu (in shell)". I suspect that a fix would involve adding ! to both the getter and setter of ApplicationMenuTweak, see: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-tweak-tool/tree/gtweak/tweaks/tweak_group_shell.py#n30 Not sure what effect this would have on people upgrading though. Would they get then get the opposite behaviour to their prefered tweak? Given that the code seems to not be fixed in the lastest upstream git, could you please file an upstream bug report at http://bugzilla.gnome.org ?
