Okay, so you do have such a device indeed. I don't see what's wrong then. Yes, that's a different case -- e1000 (and most other devices) got the new names since 220-7 already, and there's a different upgrade mechanism in place. This issue is specifically about virtio devices, see the commit ref in the initial bug report.
