$ strings /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so | grep smash Vector smash protection is enabled. Looks like it's the flash plugin, so since it's closed source I don't think there's much you can do about it apart from redirecting the standard output / stderr. Anyway it's just a harmless debug message. In my opinion this is a 'wontfix'. Berto
