Package: i2c-tools

While dealing with a bug report in raspbian (which i'm pretty sure was user error, using the wrong version of the raspberry pi foundation's repo) I noticed that the raspberry pi foundation had a version of i2c-tools which added a python3-smbus package. To do this it seems david updated to a svn revision newer than what is currently in Debian. http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/pool/main/i/i2c-tools/i2c-tools_3.1.1+svn-1.dsc . Note that the packaging is based off wheezy's version of i2c-tools.

I then decided to go and check what was going on upstream (e.g. whether there was a newer release of i2c-tools) but it seems the upstream website for i2c-tools is dead.

There is a general push to move towards python3 in Debian, so please investiage whether it is reasonable to pull these updates into Debian.
