Being an out-of-tree kernel module has its challenges. For one, it needs to catch-up with every kernel release. But more than that, it is the integration and testing that gets missed. Any module that is in- kernel gets to enjoy the wider testing from the kernel community. > From the upstream's page, it seems there has been no activity for a > little more than a year. Bug reports, testing and packaging. If you are interested, and you have no Debian upload rights, I can be your sponsor for this package. But other than that, not much. I tend to only package/maintain things that I use, and iscsitarget has moved away from that list. But I will sponsor it if you are willing to maintain. -- Ritesh Raj Sarraf RESEARCHUT - http://www.researchut.com "Necessity is the mother of invention."
