Package: kernel-package
  Version: 12.036+nmu3

Building machine is virtual server, running debian wheezy.
When I try to build own kernel 4.2.3 using make-kpkg everything works fine
until script try to make package and end with error:

run-parts: failed to open directory /etc/kernel/postinst.d: No such file or
directory

when I create this directory (mkdir -p /etc/kernel/postinst.d )
and run make-kpkg again, it build my linux-image.deb correctly

After building the directory is still empty.

I suggest, some test before running run-parts if directory exists
or create them before calling run-parts and delete after.
