That's fine for now. I'll ping this bug, should it be still open, when the transition is imminent. FFmpeg 2.9 is not yet released, but since the transition will require source changes for 82 packages and 81 of those can be done in advance, fixing most of these packages soon will make the transition to FFmpeg 2.9 much smoother.
