Steve,

I have created an experimental 1.28 libhtml-mason-perl package for my
own use. I haven't tested that any of the examples work, and I haven't
created an equivalent mason_example.conf for Apache2, but I have
confirmed that the functionality itself does work correctly for
Apache2/mod_perl2.

It's prepared with a NMU version number not because I am threatening an
NMU, but because I wanted to ensure it was lintian-clean. If you don't
have time to deal with this package right now for whatever reason,
however, I don't mind NMUing it. If I don't hear from you in a couple
of weeks, I will NMU it, as I think it's important that we ship a
version of Mason in sarge that will work with Apache2. Please let me
know if you don't think that's appropriate.

The url for the experimental packaging of Mason 1.28 is:
