I ran into this a cople of days ago.
I'm sorry I haven't noticed this bug report before but the hugeness of
this list makes finding valuable bug to fix difficult.

Anyway, it's now fixed in git and will be in the next release.
the `apt-get update` invocations now follows APTGETOPT
