Package: kernel-source-2.6.10 Version: 2.6.10-5 Severity: important Justification: fails to build from source
I was trying to build a kernel using kernel-package. All was ok until I started the build. I did make-kpkg clean and that finished with no errors. I then did make-kpkg --revision=custom.1 kernel_image and got the following error: make: *** No rule to make target onf.vars', needed by tamp-configure'. Stop. I've compiled a number of kernels in the past using this method with no problems. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.4 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages kernel-source-2.6.10 depends on: ii binutils 2.15-5 The GNU assembler, linker and bina ii bzip2 1.0.2-4 high-quality block-sorting file co ii coreutils [fileutils] 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii fileutils 5.2.1-2 The GNU file management utilities -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
