It was not RC at the time I downgraded it back to non-RC. You were even specifically told *not* to mark bugs prematurely as RC in 746741 with regards to the removal of python-support. You still went ahead and did it nonetheless only about 24 hours later :-(. You are right that this bug is RC now. I do not plan to introduce 0.6.9 into Debian yet, so I do not want to accept your NMU to unstable. Feel free to redirect it to experimental.
