Many thanks to the folks at https://archive.org/web/ , I found an old copy of the original website at https://web.archive.org/web/20090609204619/http://www.people.cornell.edu/pages/kk288/debian_choosing_distribution.html which made the restoration painless. BTW, initially I wanted to put it on my website raju.shoutwiki.com . But I changed my mind as github is more reliable (in terms of uptime), easier to collaborate with others.
