Package: apper Version: 0.9.1-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I have a fresh Jessie system completely set-up for a German UI, German locale, the KDE localization packages installed and so on. For pretty much all applications, that works all right. However, in Apper, when the German package description (both short and long) contains an umlaut, Apper just displays a '?' instead of the umlaut. It seems that even in 2016, one can still have trouble with Unicode ;-) Kind regards, Ralf
