Package: gummi Version: 0.6.5-3+deb8u1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I recently upgraded to Debian 8.3 and it comes with a new version of Gummi (0.6.5-3+deb8u1). It turns out that I am now unable to compile most of my tex files since the new version cannot find the pictures or other related files included into my tex file. Gummi's compilation fails on the first figure included in the tex code, such as for instance: # Begin Latex code extract \begin{figure}[h] \begin{center} \includegraphics[width=0.95\textwidth]{figures/uniform_agreement.png} \end{center} \caption{Uniform Agreement} \label{uniform} \end{figure} # End Latex code extract However, it works again if I replace "figures/uniform_agreement.png" by the absolute path (/home/user/figures/uniform_agreement.png in this case). Moreover, I can still compile from the command line using pdflatex from the directory of my tex file. I tried to change the compiler used and other options of Gummi, without solving the problem. For now, the only solution I found was to download Gummi's sources of 0.6.5-3 version and to compile and install them. This is quite annoying to have a LaTeX editor unable to compile anymore! -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gummi depends on: ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u2 ii libcairo2 1.14.0-2.1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+deb8u4 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.25-3 ii libgtksourceview2.0-0 2.10.5-2 ii libgtkspell0 2.0.16-1.1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpoppler-glib8 0.26.5-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 Versions of packages gummi recommends: ii texlive-extra-utils 2014.20141024-1 ii texlive-latex-base 2014.20141024-2 ii texlive-xetex 2014.20141024-2 gummi suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
