Package: mutt-patched
Version: 1.5.23-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I stumbled upon an annoyance with the sidebar patch. The following
macro is suggested to be used to toggle the sidebar visibility:

macro pager B '<enter-command>toggle sidebar_visible<enter><redraw-screen>'

That works well - until a linebreak happens or gets removed due to
screen width changes. This then will happen the wrong lines to be
colored after that linebreak changes.

When a terminal is horizontally resized though the color positions get
refreshed, too. So it looks like the redraw-screen doesn't do
everything that happens by the trigger through the terminal resizing;
but the expectation definitely goes this direction. :)

I'm not sure if this should rather be filed against mutt instead of
mutt-patched because I assume this part of the code (the <redraw-screen>
functionality) isn't mutt-patched specific; feel free to reassign if
needed. It's just way easier to reproduce it with mutt-patched; I'm not
sure how/if it would be reproducible with vanilla mutt. :)

Enjoy, and thanks for taking care of the package!
Rhonda
