Hi Daniel, 1.0.0~rc1 is in Debian unstable now, with the testsuite deactivated for now. If there are no issues, it'll reach stretch in five days. If any changes are required to accomodate for the jessie backport, a heads-up would be appreciated, so we don't have to wait for the testing migration twice. Otherwise, if those changes fix your problem, feel free to mark the bug as closed.
Regarding coordination, I'm happy enough with the debian bugtracking service and the github tracker for upstream-relevant stuff, so unless there's a specific reason to implement (and maintain) another system, I'd prefer to stick with those. Cheers, - Danny
