Package: poedit Version: 1.8.7-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
i figure out that poedit .mo (auto)compiled files get permissions like ----rw--wx user user ... instead of -rw-r--r-- user user ... which may take other software which rely on the .mo files not to work at all (eg. php-gettext in my very case). Moreover this is very frustraging considering you have to remember to change these permissions everytime you apply a chenge to the .po file and re-compile the .mo one (or you need to manually compile it with some other tool such as msgcat+msgfmt).
