Does that conbination even build the kernel module? Old drivers ususally don't work on newer kernels ... The wheezy backport just got updated to 15.9 to follow the update in jessie, maybe that helps. You may get a file conflict with xvba-va-driver, it's safe to deinstall that package (that functionality now comes with fglrx-driver). Andreas
