OK I agree with you but note that when removing the current kernel it asks you if you want to abort.
Also odd that phpmyadmin must have been marked as autoinstalled. Doing aptitude search ~M fortunately finds no other such cases. And I don't recall using any of the apt-cache showpkg phpmyadmin packages that would have made it that way.
