Package: mhonarc Version: 2.6.19-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, I just installed 'mhonarc' for the first time, only to find that running 'mhonarc' fails: $ mhonarc Can't use 'defined(%hash)' (Maybe you should just omit the defined()?) at /usr/share/mhonarc/mhamain.pl line 1568. Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/mhonarc line 39. $ mhonarc -help Can't use 'defined(%hash)' (Maybe you should just omit the defined()?) at /usr/share/mhonarc/mhamain.pl line 1568. Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/mhonarc line 39. This obviously makes the package useless. Since #768132 has a similar errors, that seem to come from an incompatible version of perl, i guess that this error is again related to the version of perl. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_AT.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages mhonarc depends on: ii perl 5.22.1-8 Versions of packages mhonarc recommends: ii libperl5.22 [libdigest-md5-perl] 5.22.1-8 mhonarc suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
