for this, http://pypi.debian.net/diffoscope should be better (it's what is used in d/watch for python stuff) > > Also: who can how upload to pypi? > No idea. > > > > Is there a canonical place do download a tarball of the project apart from > > > pypi? > Too bad. It would be nice to enable tarball downloads on anonscm.d.o. I wonder, why not consider canonical http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/diffoscope/ (pretty much the same way src:whois does). Too sad it doesn't keep historical stuff. And btw, on alioth.d.o could be enable a project feature where you can upload stuff and do releases (with announcements), but I personally really dislike that site for a good bunch of reasons. I'm not sure, the tarballs in pypi are the same of what we uploaded in the debian archive? -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`. more about me: http://mapreri.org : :' : Launchpad user: https://launchpad.net/~mapreri `. `'` Debian QA page: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=mattia `-
