Ah sorry, it was not meant as requesting a change during the freeze,
this just came up now as a possible preferable solution and wanted to
note it down here.
It's great if you were already planning on dropping those packages
after the freeze.
Are the any plans to go ahead with this?
This would be a good time to do it, the next freeze is not that far away
(although it's now delayed a wee bit), and there are several ports in
the works that would probably benefit from this.
