Dear Niko,

thank you for your feedback!

Wims is a rather intricated software, with a lot of dependencies, and it
has been recently developed mostly by French-speaking authors.

I agree about the file README, it is outdated.

There is no command /usr/bin/wims, so there is no use for a manpage.

I you do not mind, let us find which was the bug, and try to fix it. If
that entails some improvement in the package later, I shall be happy.

Please can you run the following command:

-----------8<----------------------------
$ ls -l /var/lib/wims/public_html/ | tail -5
drwxr-xr-x 11 wims wims   4096 janv. 16 18:10 themes
drwxr-xr-x  4 wims wims   4096 avril 10  2012 w
-rw-r--r--  1 wims wims    184 janv. 16 18:05 webget.sites
-rwsr-sr-x  1 wims wims 301360 janv. 16 18:06 wims
lrwxrwxrwx  1 wims wims      4 janv. 16 18:06 wims.cgi -> wims
-----------8<----------------------------

please notice the particular permissions of the file "wims".

Can you check also that most of the files under
/var/lib/wims/public_html/ are owned by user wims?

When I have that information, we can go further.

Best regards,                   Georges.
