Package: debmirror
Version: 1:2.20
Severity: normal

Hi,

Since https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2016/03/msg00006.html,
experimental has dropped .gz files. This means re-running debmirror against an
existing mirror you get:

 [..]

dists/experimental/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz exists locally but not in
Release
 Won't mirror without dists/experimental/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz
signature in Release at /usr/bin/debmirror line 2301.

Deleting the Packages.gz and Sources.gz in experimental "fixed" this for me,
but clearly its suboptimal.

We can't simply only require .xz anymore because, for example, it's missing
from wheezy.

Regards,
