Hi,

I got an error when trying to install the lateset snmpd package, the
"Debian-snmp" username
fail the default adduser NAME_REGEX:

Installing new version of config file /etc/default/snmpd ...
adduser: Please enter a username matching the regular expression configured
via the NAME_REGEX configuration variable. Use the `--force-badname'
option to relax this check or reconfigure NAME_REGEX.
dpkg: error processing package snmpd (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

As a side note i would like to add that this user change (snmp =>
Debian-snmp) isn't going to be
welcome by users of automation systems like chef or puppet ...

As for the need of doing this, the _S_ea_n_ _M_a_p_ rule seems a bit
convoluted, and are there really
admins who won't spot early on the snmp conflict ??
