Hey,
Well I'm alive, but there was no upstream update that's why the pkg has
not been touched for a long time.
If you want you can push a NMU with this fix, my gpg key in the archive
is currently expired.
Cheers,

Hello,
The libacr38u package provides the file
/lib/udev/rules.d/92-libacr38u.rules to change the group of the device
file to "pcscd". This is no more needed since pcsc-lite 1.8.8 released
in January 2013.
The use of the non-existing pcscd group will even generate an error in the
logs:
Reading rules file: /lib/udev/rules.d/92-libacr38u.rules specified group
'pcscd' unknown
Please remove the file debian/libacr38u.udev and upload a new version of
the libacr38u package.
I note that the Debian package has not been updated since August 2011 so
I do not expect a fix of this bug "soon" :-(
Thanks
