Package: docker.io Version: 1.8.3~ds1-2 Severity: wishlist The version in debian is behind upstream, currently on version 1.11.0.
This is a blocker for updating docker-compose as well, as that requires docker >=1.10 . Also, pull-by-digest will be broken for clients < 1.10 soon, as per an email I recently received from the docker hub. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages docker.io depends on: ii adduser 3.114 ii init-system-helpers 1.29 ii iptables 1.6.0-2 ii libapparmor1 2.10-4 ii libc6 2.22-7 ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.122-1 ii libsqlite3-0 3.12.2-1 ii perl 5.22.1-10 Versions of packages docker.io recommends: ii ca-certificates 20160104 pn cgroupfs-mount | cgroup-lite <none> ii git 1:2.8.1-1 ii xz-utils 5.1.1alpha+20120614-2.1 Versions of packages docker.io suggests: ii aufs-tools 1:3.2+20130722-1.1 ii btrfs-tools 4.4.1-1.1 ii debootstrap 1.0.80 pn lxc <none> pn rinse <none> pn zfs-fuse | zfsutils <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/docker changed [not included] -- no debconf information
