I have prepared a tentative package based on the new upstream release v2.25 in which I included Helmut's patch. While the overall diff to v2.24 is relatively small, upstream did shuffle around headers a bit. However, it is my understanding that this should only affect the target environment, not the build environment for which Helmut's patch is intended.
