Yes, I'm well aware of this new version. I'm in contact with upstream
and he doesn't recommend to upgrade to a newer version at the moment.

 a) 2.1.x is a unstable branch (2.0 is stable) and has several bugs
 b) most of the new features (and some of them are really cool) will
either disappear or will be heavily modified (e.g. there will be no
upgrade path for configurations) - that's what developer branches are
    for, experimenting with new features.

So, although a new package is already compiled and more or less tested
here on my workstation, I don't think it's a good idea to release it at
the moment. I've asked upstream recently and he told me that he will
have some time to work on a new stable release soon.

This, along with some other small stuff (e.g. some policy fixes), is fixed in
the new package,
but IMHO not worth a new release

I hope you agree with my reasons above.

Thanks!
