I recently packaged php-jmespath as used by php-aws-sdk (in experimental), but it won’t be part of Stretch as per #821698. There is a priori little point in shipping php-jmespath in the next Debian stable release. Since php-aws-sdk is still in experimental, I don’t intend to request the removal of this package.
