Could you please try to install it? Also as you have a non-standard KDE environment, it would be nice to not install (or to desintall) the lineak-kdeplugins package, and see if it works.
The xosd plugin also behaves differently depending on the Display_* line in the ~/.lineak/lineakd.conf file. Could you please send me your configuration file. Thanks, Aurelien -- .''`.
