I forgot: To reproduce: I'm using schroot, sbuild and a stretch chroot. To use eatmydata, simply install eatmydata inside the chroot and add "command-prefix=eatmydata" to the configuration file for the chroot.
For example, this is my /etc/schroot/chroot.d/stretch file: [stretch] type=directory description=Debian stretch directory=/chroot/stretch groups=sbuild root-groups=sbuild preserve-environment=true command-prefix=eatmydata Thanks.
