Well, Sid (and even Testing) fulfills the build-deps without problems,
so it would only warn back-porting people (to Sarge) that it might
give trouble (indeed, the Sarge version does not allow to set the
directory to rip to, but works fine otherwise). So from a "pure" stand
point improved build-deps would be nice, from a practical stand point
(since the version in sid is the same as in Sarge) a binNMU improves
the situation for sid/etch users while it does not change it for Sarge
users (they would not want to backport anyway). So I still think it is
worth while to schedule binNMUs (unless you fear that a buildd has an
older version of gtk/glib).

How do you get four? I see two: goobox and rythmbox-applet (or does he
use different e-mail addresses)?

Let me phrase it this way: If it is orphaned and another Debian
developer wants it, I would not complain. If, on the other hand, no
one raises his/her hand within a decent time I think yes, I would
adopt it (would be my first package with a decent upstream, I hope).

P.S. I am quite busy this and the next week. I will try, though, to
prepare a new upstream version 'till the end of the week (though I
cannot promise). I am currently checking it on my ibook, which I
upgrade from Sarge to testing.
