Package: dash Version: 0.5.7-4+b1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
it is not possible with dash to resume suspended jobs with fg %string. For example after suspending vi with Control-Z, the command fg %vi does not resume vi, but gives always the inappropriate error message: sh: 8: fg: %vi: ambiguous even if vi is the only active job. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages dash depends on: ii debianutils 4.4+b1 ii dpkg 1.17.25 ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u4 dash recommends no packages. dash suggests no packages. -- debconf information: * dash/sh: true
