I just wanted to add a note that this bug is very similar to bug https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=824931 in openbsd-inet.
There also, only when running under systemd, all processes started directly or indirectly via inetd get killed (for example, when I apt-get install'd rlinetd to avoid this behaviour, automount, mysql, a backup running in screen that was started some days ago and the apt-get doing the rlinetd install itself were all killed because they were started indirectly via inetd, and killed when the uninstalling process stopped inetd). The maintainer already said that this is the correct behaviour, so this kind of disruption is likely going to become part of debian gnu/linux on multiple levels now. -- The choice of a Deliantra, the free code+content MORPG -----==- _GNU_ http://www.deliantra.net ----==-- _ generation ---==---(_)__ __ ____ __ Marc Lehmann --==---/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / schm...@schmorp.de -=====/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\
