The problem here is that turning the depends into a recommends could lead to isc-dhcp-client to be uninstalled on upgrades. I'd have to verify that, but if the package was marked as auto-installed (which it typically is), I will be uninstalled by "apt autoremove" or aptitude upgrade. This would be very undesirable. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
