Package: gaim Version: 1:1.5.0+1.5.1cvs20051015-1 Severity: normal When e.g. the ICQ transport is registered on a server; Gaim does not allow you to remove the transport buddy/service from your roster permanently. When gaim is restarted; the transport service/buddy is back in the roster.
When Psi is used to 'de-register' the service, the service is removed from the roster in Gaim. I would assume the incorrect XML command is sent to the server, and the 'remove' is done only locally. When the client is started again, it re-fetches the roster from the jabber server where the transport service is running on. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages gaim depends on: ii gaim-data 1:1.5.0+1.5.1cvs20051015-1 multi-protocol instant messaging c ii libao2 0.8.6-1.1 Cross Platform Audio Output Librar ii libaspell15 0.60.4-2 GNU Aspell spell-checker runtime l ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.3-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-6 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libc6 2.3.5-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcrypt11 1.2.2-1 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.5-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnutls11 1.0.16-14 GNU TLS library - runtime library ii libgtk2.0-0 2.8.9-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkspell0 2.0.10-3 a spell-checking addon for GTK's T ii libice6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpango1.0-0 1.10.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libsm6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3 X Window System Session Management ii libstartup-no 0.8-1 library for program launch feedbac ii libx11-6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxss1 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3 X Screen Saver client-side library ii xlibs 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3 X Window System client libraries m gaim recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
