Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed ldconfig creates a symlink for your package that should be shipped as part of your package, see policy 8.1: https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-sharedlibs.html#s-sharedlibs-runtime The run-time library package should include the symbolic link for the SONAME that ldconfig would create for the shared libraries.
