Well, if you want to go on a grammar/spelling jihad, there's also the
more(1) man page:

     More is a filter for paging through text one screenful at a time.  This
     version is especially primitve.  Users should realize that less(1) pro-
     vides more(1) emulation and extensive enhancements.

And you can also complain at the maintainers of the less(1) man page
as well.

Or Google on "screenful" (ooh!  Google used as a verb!!!), and realize
that English is a living language, and attempts to try to channel the
some English/American version of the Academie Francaise are ultimately
going to be pointless.  :-)
