Thanks Emilio, I see there is a similar change started for the wacom driver, but not completed yet. What about making something similar for synaptics ? i.e. make x-x-input-all recommends synaptics only instead of depending on it and make DEs not able to configure libinput driver yet depend on it. ATM gnome (which is the default DE on most arch) experience is really downgraded ... Cheers, Nicolas
