Control: tags 819751 + wontfix I'm marking this as wontfix with the intention of closing it in the future if no further discussion is received.
I understand these settings may cause some issues with Apparmor, but this is an issue that will need to be addressed there and not in nginx. These current settings allow nginx to handle log file create, rotation, and writing while maintaining secure defaults.
