Package: lxqt-powermanagement Version: 0.10.0-3 Severity: normal Hi,
on a new installation of lxqt on debian testing lxqt-powermanagement complains "LXQt could not find data about any battery - monitoring disabled" whenever I want to enable battery monitoring. It uses libkf5solid5 to detect hardware. Trying to investigate the issue I installed libkf5solid-bin, which recommands upower. With the later installed, solid finds my battery and lxqt-powermanagement works as expected. I think either libkf5solid5 or lxqt-powermanagement should also recommand upower, so that battery detection works by default. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing-debug APT policy: (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.5.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages lxqt-powermanagement depends on: ii libc6 2.22-11 ii libkf5solid5 5.23.0-1 ii liblxqt0 [lxqt-abi-0-10-0] 0.10.0-5 ii libqt5core5a 5.6.1+dfsg-2 ii libqt5dbus5 5.6.1+dfsg-2 ii libqt5gui5 5.6.1+dfsg-2 ii libqt5svg5 5.6.1-2 ii libqt5widgets5 5.6.1+dfsg-2 ii libqt5xdg1 1.3.0-3+b1 ii libstdc++6 6.1.1-4 ii libxcb-dpms0 1.11.1-1 ii libxcb-screensaver0 1.11.1-1 ii libxcb1 1.11.1-1 lxqt-powermanagement recommends no packages. lxqt-powermanagement suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
