I'm afraid I don't understand what the problem is. I don't see why our packages would need Build-Using fields on any C libraries, because AFAIK all our packages that use C libraries are dynamically linked against them and have the appropriate Depends on them. Are you at DebConf? If so, maybe we could meet and you explain the problem to me. Regards Sven
