Hi, Thanks for trying to improve libarchive by reporting this!
Could you confirm that this bug is fixed in libarchive-3.2.0-1 (or, rather, in 3.2.1-1 in testing and unstable now)? It seems that the ZIP archive in question uses some extensions that are only supported upstream since libarchive-3.2.0 (well, there is an intermediate 3.1.900 version, but for all Debian intents and purposes, it's 3.2.0). Unfortunately, the changes to support Zip64 and some other ZIP format extensions were, well, quite extensive, so I don't think that it would be possible to make a simple patch for a stable proposed update. Rather, if you confirm that the version in testing and unstable works for you (it does for me), a backport might be in order soon. Thanks again for reporting this!
