I get a return value of 2 when runnning debdiff on files that don't exist: 66076:tbm@loric-alpo: ~] debdiff a b ; echo $? debdiff: fatal error at line 354: Can't read file: a zsh: exit 2 debdiff a b 2 But debdiff(1) says: Normally the exit value will be 0 if no differences are reported and 1 if any are reported. If there is some fatal error, the exit code will be 255. -- Martin Michlmayr HPE Linux, Hewlett Packard Enterprise
