Ok, I'm attaching a patch to lower the recommends to a suggests for Ubuntu since Ubuntu's been basically doing this for years anyway. Also, I'm attaching a patch to enable 'gbp buildpackage' to work for someone who doesn't use pbuilder. (I use sbuild.) Just add the removed line to your ~/.gbp.conf instead please. And then it will work for any git repository you want to build which is probably better for you anyway. Thank you, Jeremy
