Package: qemu
Version: 1:2.6+dfsg-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
I think qemu-system-s390x needs the file s390-ccw.img to be able to run.
It throws an error message if you try to start QEMU without it:

$ qemu-system-s390x
qemu-system-s390x: Initialization of device s390-ipl failed: could not find
stage1 bootloader

Copying s390-ccw.img from QEMU's source (/pc-bios/s390-ccw.img) into
/usr/share/qemu/ fixes this problem.

It seems that this error is related to this bug
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=684909

Greetings,
Bruno

PS: If you need a s390x image for debugging I can provide you one.
